Neanderthal was a bipedal species on Earth prior to and during the development of Humans. Despite their greater strength and large brain cavity, this species managed to defy evolution by becoming displaced by Humans. Popular belief considered this species to be inherently stupid, however revealing archeological data shows an intelligence equal to that of early humans.
