Nebraska is an area located in the United States of America.

In 2251, Gary Mitchell incorrectly guessed that James T. Kirk was from Nebraska. When Kirk told him he was from Iowa, Mitchell said that it would have been his second guess. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Republic)

When the USS Enterprise accidentally traveled back in time to the 1960s, United States Air Force Captain John Christopher was sent to investigate what appeared to be a UFO in Earth orbit. The Enterprise locked a tractor beam on Christopher's jet, Bluejay 4, causing it to crash in an open field in southern Nebraska. (TOS episode: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")
