Necroblaster 989 was a 23rd century holographic video game that was set up in the bowling alley of the USS Enterprise in the 2260s.

Due to the high level of sophistication involved in holographic programming, Necroblaster 989 had a powerful computer interface, on par with one of the Enterprise's laboratory computer terminals. In 2269, this fact was taken advantage of by a time traveller from an alternate timeline named Dylan Arios. Arios and his computer specialist, Raksha, hacked into the lab-quality circuitry of Necroblaster 989 and took control of the ship while hidden in the relative safety of the bowling alley.
