Neon (symbol Ne) is a chemical element, a naturally-occuring gas, which is tasteless, colorless, and odorless. While it is the fourth most-abundant element located in the universe, it is extremely rare on Earth. Neon has atomic number 10 on the periodic table and an atomic mass of 20.183.
