During the Aventine's investigation of the crash site of the NX-02 Columbia, Riordan found schematics for the computer core from Earth archives, allowing the two ships to interact, an action that Mikaela Leishman recommended to Captain Ezri Dax for commendation. After they had recovered the entirety of the vessel's computer logs, he noted an eight month gap in records, and determined it was not due to damage, malfunction, or erasure.
