Benjamin Sisko and Cal Hudson were once stationed or lived on New Berlin. They, along with Jennifer Sisko and Gretchen Hudson, once attended a festival on New Berlin where mazurka music was played. (DS9 episode: "The Maquis, Part I")

In 2374, an Andorian trade representative of the Andorian Trade Mission was based in New Berlin. (DS9 novel: The War of the Prophets)

Alternate timelineEdit

In an alternate timeline where the Klingons conquered Earth, New Berlin was destroyed during the invasion. Will Riker was a boy at the time and watched the flashes or explosions of the lunar city being destroyed from Earth. (The Last Generation: No Cure For That)
