New Mexico is an area located in the United States of America.
In 1947, a Ferengi ship carrying Quark, Rom, Nog, and Odo - who had hidden on board the ship to catch Quark in the act of smuggling kemocite - crashed in the desert near Roswell after accidently traveling 400 years back into the past. (DS9 episode Little Green Men)
Lieutenant Commander Worf had an ancient west holodeck program in which he portrayed an Ancient West sheriff tracking stagecoach thieves through the New Mexico desert. (DS9 comic: "Unhappy Trails").
- In the continuity of the novel The Final Reflection, at least some of New Mexico's territory has been incorporated into a new state named Cibola.
