Nicolas Bouvier (also known as "Sparth") is an French artist who has designed artwork novel covers and has also worked on video games. He designed the image of Cardassia City for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel The Never-Ending Sacrifice.

Bouvier was born in France before moving to Canada. Bouvier has worked on video games such as Alone in the Dark 4, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Assassin's Creed. Bouvier now resides in Seattle, where he is working for Microsoft on future installments of the popular Halo series.
