The Night Alliance was a terrorist organization that operated on the planet Vulcan in its distant past long before the rise of Surak and his peaceful message of logic. It was an offshoot branch of the older Mastercraft that had disbanded following the death of its leader T'Meheh in a hovercar accident. The Alliance demanded marriage into both Duveh and Lassiriheh royal houses along with a bride/groom-payments of more then five million nakh. (TOS novel: Spock's World)
