Nikolasi is chief colony of the Acolytes of the Stars on Pollux V, with over 1000 members comprising the population.

Although isolationist, the Acolytes have assisted geologic surveys and disaster relief teams. The teams were led by Robert Angiven.

The colonists settled near Mount Idyll had mining interests, unearthing hafnium and a variety of useful trace elements.

The settlers were attacked by creatures that resembled Earth demons which prompted Starfleet to dispatch the USS Enterprise to aid the settlers. (TOS video game: 25th Anniversary)
