Nniol was a Romulan serving on the ChR Bloodwing. He was officialy disowned by his family, but his brother, Nveid tr'AAnikh, wanted to honor him by liberating Leonard McCoy in 2276. Nniol's sister served on the ChR Javelin until it's destruction. (TOS - Rihannsu novel: The Romulan Way)
