Noggra, son of Doqi

Redirected from Noggra

Noggra, son of Doqi was a Klingon male who headed the House of Noggra and was a friend of the House of Mogh.

In 2372, Worf contacted him and asked for him to say he was the father of Kurn, now Rodek. Worf had come to realise wiping Kurn's memory was the only way to stop him from committing suicide, a dishonorable act in Klingon society. Noggra came to Deep Space 9 and Kurn left with him. (DS9 episode: "Sons of Mogh", DS9 novel: Vengeance)

When Rodek left to "join" the Klingon Defense Force, Noggra gave him a recording of the song Mahk Jchi. (GKN novel: A Good Day to Die)

By 2376, Noggra and Worf were still the only people in the Klingon Empire who knew Rodek's true identity. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)

In late 2376, Noggra was murdered by the disgraced Dorrek, who then deceived Rodek into thinking Klag was responsible. (KE novel: A Burning House)

TriviaEdit

Noggra was played by actor Robert DoQui (1934-2008). His father's name comes from the last name.
