Noi was a village on the planet Ferenginar. According to legend, Noi was the home of a shopkeeper named Obe, whose honesty led to his tragic death, and inspired the first Rule of Acquisition, "Once you have their money, you never give it back."

Noi was also believed by some to have been the hometown of Grand Nagus Twim. (DS9 reference: Legends of the Ferengi)
