In the mirror universe, the OCS Coridan was a 23rd century Orion Empire starship, a Brigand-class pirate ship in service in the 2290s decade. (TOS video game: Shattered Universe)

Service history and disposition[]

In the primary universe, Coridan III was a planet the Orion Syndicate maintained a mining interest on. (TOS episode: "Journey to Babel")

On stardate 9594.4 in the year 2293, Orion pirates ambushed the Terran starship ISS Excelsior at V'Hort Lghan IX in the Klingon Alliance after the faux-Terrans had fended off Klingon fighters. The Orion forces consisted of the Buccaneer-class cruisers OCS Coridan and OCS Threnody, complemented by the Brigand-class OCS Skreed and their complement of Corsair-class fighters. The Excelsior, though damaged, used its own weapons and fighter craft to destroy the Skreed forcing the Buccaneers to retreat. The Captain Hikaru Sulu's crew captured a Corsair, adding it to their hangar bay. (TOS video game: Shattered Universe mission: "Field of Honor")
