Oghen was a planet within the Small Magellanic Cloud. It was home to a indigenous sentient bovine species of the same name.

Oghen was taken over by the Neyel Hegemony. The Neyel enslaved the Oghen's native species it became the "Coreworld" of the Hegemony.

Oghen was destroyed on stardate 57038.4 by spatial anomalies caused by an emerging protouniverse. Over 2 million residents of Oghen were rescued prior to the planet's destruction by USS Titan and Commander Donatra's Warbird Fleet. (TTN novel: The Red King)
