Olson was a planet in orbit of the star Alpha Centauri B, located in the Alpha Centauri system, in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. Olson was uninhabited, described as being quite like Mercury in the Sol system.

Olson was destroyed in the year 2285 after Alpha Centauri B was prematurely aged by time waves from the Guardian of Forever. (TOS - The Yesterday Saga novel: Time for Yesterday)
