Singleton Air Force Base, also known as the Omaha Military Forces Base, was a United States Air Force facility located near Omaha, Nebraska in the 20th century.

History and specifics[]

In 1969, film from the wing camera of a crashed F-104 Starfighter, bearing images of the USS Enterprise in low Earth orbit, was brought to Singleton A.F.B. Enterprise officers Captain James T. Kirk and Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu infiltrated the base to retrieve this film, as did Aegis agents Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln. (TOS - Star Trek: Assignment: Earth comic: "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow")

The base was not given a name in the TOS episode: "Tomorrow is Yesterday". The ST reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual calls the facility the Omaha Military Forces Base.
