For the mirror universe counterpart, see Corbin Entek (mirror).

Corbin Entek (b. ?; d. 2371) was a Cardassian male who lived in the 24th century. Entek was a member of the Obsidian Order.

Biography[]

In his youth, Entek attended the Bamarren Institute for State Intelligence where he was given the designation One Drabar. Described as having "sharp eyes", he worked with One Charaban, Two Charaban and Ten Lubak in the planning stages of a mock battle competition against the third level interns. Entek went on to work for the Obsidian Order and eventually ended up being Elim Garak's superior, after Garak's fall from grace and subsequent demotion. (DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time)

Entek's first solo mission for the Order in 2328 was to observe the negotiations on the USS Carthage over the status of Raknal V in the initial phase of the Betreka Nebula Incident. Entek posed as a clumsy junior member of the Cardassian delegation. (ST - The Lost Era novel: The Art of the Impossible)

A subsequent assignment was as a trainer for Obsidian Order agent Iliana Ghemor. He had been responsible for recruiting her into the Order by allowing Bajoran terrorists (including Kira Nerys) to kill her lover. He was later responsible for Iliana's undercover operation to replace Kira, but was manipulated into dropping the project by Skrain Dukat through Dukat's knowledge of Entek's former plans. (DS9 novels: Fearful Symmetry, The Soul Key)

In 2371, Entek led an Order operation to expose Iliana's father, Legate Tekeny Ghemor's links to the dissident movement. He used the remnants of his Iliana-as-Kira plan to facilitate the plot. He was later killed by Garak. (DS9 episode: "Second Skin")

Limor Prang deemed Entek's plan a "misadventure". (DS9 short story: "The Calling")
