The One Mind School was a Vulcan way of thinking that was created by one of Surak's students, T'mor, during her teachers life time. The One Mind School was an alternative to the emotion purging ways of Tu-Surak as T'mor struggled to remove her emotions entirely. Instead, she found a solution that centered around predestination.

The concept of predestination is an ancient belief in Vulcan society which centered around the thought that all actions and events are already predetermined and, thus, cannot be changed. T'mor taught in her teachings that emotions, such as curiosity, clouded the Vulcan 'sight' which made it difficult to see the ways of the universe. The One Mind School states that if the student can throw away emotion, then they could be able to see the grand pattern of the universe and watch it unfold.

Despite the years of development, the One Mind School train of thought is considered one of the 'fringe schools' in Vulcan society. (Last Unicorn RPG module: The Way of Kolinahr: The Vulcans)

QuotesEdit
