Onna Karapleedeez was a well-known female Kreetassan Starfleet career officer who served in the mid-24th century.

In 2359, Karapleedeez had achieved the rank of captain and was commanding officer of the USS Mary Kingsley on a two-year Beta Quadrant survey, including mapping of the Scorpius Reach and assisting an archeological team from Centauri University in recovering a survivor from a Manraloth stasis field. (TLE novel: The Buried Age)

Karapleedeez died under mysterious circumstances in 2364, possibly a victim of the bluegill neural parasite aliens that had infiltrated Starfleet Command. (TNG episode: "Conspiracy")
