The operations manager (also referred to as the operations officer) was a Starfleet position in use during the 24th century. The title was often shortened to ops manager.

Aboard starships, the ops manager was stationed at the ops position on the bridge. On most starships that position was next to the flight controller's position at the front of the bridge. Several designs of starships, including the Defiant and Intrepid classes, had the station located at the back or side of the bridge.

The position could also be held by an officer of any rank or position. Aboard the USS Enterprise-D and USS Enterprise-E, Lieutenant Commander Data served as operations manager. While aboard the USS Voyager, Ensign Harry Kim was the operations manager. (TNG episode: "Encounter at Farpoint"; VOY episode: "Caretaker")
