Orbital Transfer Control was a facility in orbit of planet Intrator II, which served as a cargo transfer point for freighters shipping in and out from the planet. In 2269, in the aftermath of the Talin IV disaster, James T. Kirk (under the alias Leonard Scott) attempted to find work as a cargo master at Intrator II's Orbital Transfer Control. He was hired by the SS Ian Shelton, and proved so adept with the Mark IV Tractor Web that he caused a system overload and failure of Orbital Transfer Control's loaders. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
