In late 2364, Solis manned the conn on the main bridge, relieving Geordi La Forge after he was placed in command of the Enterprise during the mission to the planet Minos. Solis later transferred to the battle bridge after the Enterprise encountered an automated weapons systems in orbit of Minos. (TNG episode: "The Arsenal of Freedom")

In early 2366, Solis manned the operations station during the Enterprise's mission to the planet Kirlos. (TNG novel: Doomsday World)
