The Orion sector was a sector of space in the Sirius sector block of the Beta Quadrant.

Details and historyEdit

Named for the Orion system, this sector contains several other star systems and space stations. (STO video game: Star Trek Online)

The Orion sector was apparently the origination point for the blastoneuron neural parasite that eventually spread to Deneva. Starfleet found the controlling "mother" creature of the blastoneurons in Orion sector in the year 2267. (TOS - Star Trek 2 novelization: Operation -- Annihilate!)
