Ormachi was a type of flowering tree native to the planet Macedon III, and were plentiful across the city of New Athens. The ormachi trees had dark green leaves and produced flowers in various colors, including red, yellow and orange.

In 2277, Nyota Uhura noticed scores of ormachi trees as she made he way to Hotel Terra, where she was staying for the duration of her shore leave on the planet. (TOS - Star Trek II Short Stories short story: "Under Twin Moons")
