PQ-1 was a Federation convoy of freighters which was formed during the Dominion War. Serving as the convoy liaison officer was Captain Kasidy Yates, due to her familiarity with the freighter captains.

In late 2374, the USS Defiant was assigned to escort the convoy to the Vegan system. (DS9 episode: "The Sound of Her Voice"; novel: The Fall of Terok Nor).
