As of 2265, he held the rank of lieutenant, and was assigned to the Corps of Engineers contingent aboard the USS Lovell. (SCE eBook: Foundations, Book One)

His roommate aboard the Lovell at that time was Lieutenant Isaiah Farber. Farber once played a practical joke on LeGere, the result of which was that LeGere did not have a use for a comb for several months. (SCE eBook: Distant Early Warning)

By 2287, LeGere had risen to the rank of admiral, and served as commanding officer of Starbase 49. (TOS novel: In the Name of Honor)
