Paul Stiles was a Starfleet officer and later a MACO in the late 24th and early 25th centuries. He was a hero in the war against the Undine, and as such was interviewed by Jake Sisko. He's part of the Stiles family, which has been in Starfleet since before the Federation. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)
