Pektu-Keltz was a Klingon man. He was a famed opera singer.

Pektu-Keltz once sang the complete cycle of Shevok'tah gish for Chancellor M'Rek, without stopping to eat or rest. Gorkon considered Pektu-Keltz the greatest performer of any time. (TOS - Legacies novel: Purgatory's Key)

The character has the same hyphenated name as Barak-Kadan, another opera singer, who was mentioned in the DS9 episode: "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places".
