A Personal Guidance System (or PGS) was a device for receiving directions to desired destination on a planet surface. The PGS could be worn in the user's ear, where it would give auditory instruction for travel, including street names and distances. Elizabeth Lense used a PGS to navigate from the transporter station at Washington Circle in Washington, DC to her mother's apartment in Old Georgetown. (CoE eBook: Ghost)
