The Phicus system was a star system near the Federation-Cardassian border. In 2374, it was the location of a Federation communications relay station, one vital for tactical communications during the Dominion War. It was sabotaged by Cardassian forces in that year, and the USS da Vinci was dispatched to the Phicus system, along with the USS Appalachia and USS Sloane, to repair it.
