Phlaginum was a type of mineral, one of many such materials and substances that was mined on the moon Davonia, in the Davon system.

Phlaginum was one of a number of potentially valuable substances noted on Davonia by a Starfleet survey, prior to the moon's star system being given over to the Cardassian Union. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
