Posck was a male Ferengi doctor from the early days of Ferengi history, and a member of the Ferengi Wellness Institute. He is famed as the author of Guarding Your Investment, Keeping Your Children Profitable, a medical text which remained popular well into the 24th century. (DS9 reference: Legends of the Ferengi)
