Positano was a small town and comune in Campania, Italy on Earth.

Throughout the 2250s and 2260s, Velluto's restaurant in Nob Hill, San Francisco had a large mural painting of Positano displayed on one of its walls. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Enterprise)
