The Pride of Mintak is a bar on Bajor, noted for its kis.

As a test of the transporter systems on the USS Ganges, Chief Miles O'Brien once had Ensign Goodman go to the Pride of Mintak to see if the sensors could lock on to him while in the bar. He also hoped that the need to test the transporters on a few inanimate objects, such as bottles of kis. While the transporter itself worked, the sensors were unable to maintain a lock, and a very drunk Goodman was forced to read off his coordinates to be beamed on board. (DS9 novel: Warchild)
