Pursuit group
A Starfleet Pursuit Group is a military unit consisting of twelve Starfleet corvette vessels operating in three flights of four ships each, usually based at a Federation starbase.
In the late 23rd century several Starfleet Pursuit Groups consisted of Scorpio-class corvettes. (Reference: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)
