Pyurb was a word in the language of the Goeg Domain. The word was a derogatory term and a profanity. (TOS novel: The Shocks of Adversity)

History[]

In 2267, various species of the Goeg Domain used the word to refer to members of their society they held a grudge against. (TOS novel: The Shocks of Adversity)

It was used as a profanity by refugees of the Borg Invasion of 2381 to describe a "rickety, makeshift" bridge erected on the planet Pacifica leading from Eden Beach to the iy'Dewra'ni refugee camp. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)
