Quincy Harker was a Human individual of 20th century Earth who made a life for himself hunting vampires of legend.

According to legends retold by Spock in the 2270s, Harker had slain the feared five hundred-year old vampire who was the subject of the story Dracula. (TOS comic: "The Haunting of Thallus!")

Spock's reference was a tip of the hat to a contemporary issue of Marvel Comics's Tomb of Dracula, which was also written by issue author Marv Wolfman.
