Commander Quint Freedman was a human male who served as Captain Refelian's first officer aboard the USS Incursion. Commander Freedman had a background in biology, and was proficient with the herbal extractor technology, as well as some security expertise.

Quint grew up in a reservation on Earth, his people traced there ancestry back to the Maori tribes of New Zealand and Quint proudly sports a Moko, a facial tattoo which identified him as a Maori warrior and displayed his character and identity.

Before joining the crew of the Incursion, Quint's sympathies lied else where, he was a member of the Maquis and a good friend of Maquis leader Chakotay. (TNG video game: Away Team)
