Raal was a Capellan individual who lived in the 23rd century on the planet Capella IV. He was the son of Akaar, and was killed in 2267, while in his late teens. His own uncle, Maab, killed him, during the struggle to remove Akaar from power. (TOS novelization: Friday's Child)
