Raiq was an Ascendant female. As of the 2370s, she was one hundred and twelve years old.

In 2373, Raiq crashlanded on the Ennis moon and was injured. During her recovery, she discussed the True with Opaka Sulan. As thanks for helping her, Raiq destroyed the satellite network around the moon, deactivating the microbes that resurrected the Ennis and the Nol-Ennis. (DS9 novel: Rising Son)

In 2377, Raiq joined with other members of her species on a barren planet to which they had been summoned. She witnessed Iliana Ghemor appearing before them. (DS9 novel: The Soul Key)
