Raknal Station is an heavily fortified Alliance space station in orbit of Raknal V in the mirror universe. Five times larger than Terok Nor, Raknal Station had weaponry that also made it ten times as powerful. Its position and features made it the third important location of the Alliance, after Qo'noS and Cardassia. Raknal V also had a powerful symbolic meaning for the Alliance in that once a year, the Klingon regent and the Cardassian supreme legate would meet there and play the Human game of chess. This illustrated the benefits of the Alliance, having destroyed the Terran Empire and the Terran culture together.

In 2377, while posing as Intendant Kira Nerys, Iliana Ghemor was summoned to Raknal Station by Martok and Skrain Dukat to explain why she had requested information on Ataan Rhukal, a former member of the Obsidian Order who had joined the Bajoran dissident movement. (DS9 novel: The Soul Key)

The description in the novel of Raknal Station as having a saucer shaped central area with docking pylons arching outwards indicate it was similar to the Kelvas repair facility space station seen in "Tacking Into the Wind".
