Rakon was a star with an accompanying star system. Tandar Prime and Rakon IV were two of the planets in the system.

In 2382, the Rakon system was the sight of a major temporal distrubance as forces in the Temporal Cold War fought on a moon of Rakon IV. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
