Rakos was a male citizen of the Federation, and the husband of Lagg. He fell asleep during an August, 2380 edition of Illuminating the City of Light, though claimed, when questioned, to be resting his eyes.

Rakos was of a species that had six eyes, two mouths, tentacles, and skin that required regular acid baths to keep from becoming too smooth. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
