Lieutenant Reese was a female Starfleet tactical officer serving aboard the USS Atlas by 2381.
During the Borg Invasion of 2381, Reese was on Bridge duty when the Atlas and its battle fleet attempted to defend the planet Vulcan. She loaded and fired two salvos of transphasic torpedoes to no avail as the Borg had adapted, allowing all eight Borg cubes to pass unscathed. However, the Borg were momentarily caused to battle each other, exposing their ship's cores; Captain Morgan Bateson pressed the advantage, and Reese reported all targets eliminated around Vulcan.
