The Regent class was a battle cruiser starship class used by the Alliance in the 2370s. The IKS Gorkon was of this class. (DS9 novel: Warpath)

The Regent class is probably identical to the Qang-class with the exception of the name, being named Regent after the title of the Alliance's leader, rather than Chancellor.
