In 2371, Mardah was accepted into the Regulus Science Academy. (DS9 episode: "Fascination")

Teresa Garcia was travelling to the academy aboard the Verity when it was transported through time. When the Verity emerged, the Academy had been destroyed during the Borg Invasion of 2381. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
