Rennis Valin was a male Romulan officer serving the empire in the early 24th century. In 2311, he served in the engineering department on the flagship Tomed.

When Valin, along with the remaining Tomed personnel, were captured, he chose to become a prisoner rather than die aboard the Tomed. Sublieutenant Akeev, under orders from Admiral Aventeer Vokar, then killed Valin for betraying the empire. (TLE novel: Serpents Among the Ruins)
