In 2268, Reyes was part of Captain James T. Kirk and a landing party to the surface of Angrena following an explosion in the colony's mines. Doctor Leonard McCoy took Reyes and Wellman to the colony's operations center to begin treating the injured personnel that were being housed there. (TOS - Uchu comic: "Art of War")
