Rifin was a male Bajoran and the husband of Rifin Belda.

In 2318, Rifin was the captain of Jas Holza's ship Eleda when it suffered an accident and the entire crew was killed. They were later returned to Bajor by the Cardassians. (TLE - Terok Nor novel: Day of the Vipers)
